Lexie is thankful for the Lord.
Lizbeth is thankful for God.
Naasir is thankful for his sister.
Nevaeh is thankful for her brothers.
Shja Ma is thankful for her family.

We're back from Fall Break. We had a great time on our days off. Here's what we did:

Aidan played Nick Jr. at home.
Andy played his Superman game.
Boe Meh jumped rope.
Christopher went trick-or-treating.
Daniel ate lots of candy.
Emmanuel watched "Sponge Bob".
Harlem played her Sponge Bob video game.
Jadon played his Wii game.
Johnny ate candy at someone's house.
Kaylie went trick-or-treating.
Kendell went out to eat for her daddy's birthday.
Lexie played her race car game.
Lizbeth bought a rabbit.
Naasir played with his toys.
Shja Ma jumped rope.
Su Reh played Super Duper.
Mrs. Walker had a Halloween party at her house, went trick-or-treating in the rain, and got some extra sleep. She worked at school a lot, too.
Mrs. Essic went to the mountains and went trick-or-treating with her grandsons.

Now that we're back in school, we're super busy. We're starting reading groups and math centers this week. So far, everyone is doing a great job with these "big kid" tasks. I'm so proud of all my KinderKids!

Here's what everybody is going to be for Halloween:
Aidan will be a red crayon.
Andy will be Spiderman.
Boe Meh will be a fairy.
Christopher will be a mean guy.
Daniel will be a vampire.
Emmanuel will be Batman.
Harlem will be Tinkerbell.
Jadon will be a bumble bee.
Johnny will be a Star Wars Storm Trooper.
Kaylie will be a witch.
Kendell will be a witch.
Lexie will be Hannah Montana.
Lizbeth will be a witch.
Malcolm will be Batman.
Naasir will be a ghost.
Nevaeh will be a witch.
Shja Ma will be a fairy.
Su Reh will be a cowboy.
All the parents will be tired.
All the teachers will be grateful that Halloween is on a Saturday!

Fall Fun

We are loving Fall! On Friday, we made pumpkin muffins. Everyone got to help and with so many cooks in the kitchen, our muffins were great! Today we got to check out the inside of a pumpkin while I carved a jack-o-lantern. Almost everybody was brave enough to stick a hand inside the pumpkin and pull out some seeds. Everyone agreed that pumpkin carving is a stinky and slimy job! I am going to roast those seeds tonight, so we can taste them tomorrow. Come back soon and see how we liked them!
